    Andy Maner


Andy Maner is the recently departed Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) has been a key player in the inner circle since the agency’s formation. Maner is one of few DHS leaders able to address the breadth of security, trade and privacy issues. As CFO for both Secretaries Ridge and Chertoff, he worked on such critical issues such as port security, hurricane relief, border security, interior enforcement, infrastructure protection, aviation security, temporary worker program and state and local funding issues. Maner also became an expert on immigration issues as he led the complex merger of all the border agencies within the U.S. Government while he was Chief of Staff at U.S. Customs and Border Protection.

Maner's unique blend of private sector and public sector experience is highlighted by working for two U.S. Presidents, launching a new Department and doubling sales at 2 private sector IT companies.
