The Honorable Tidal W. McCoy
is a Senior Advisor to companies who focus on aerospace, defense,
intelligence, and security markets. McCoy served at senior
levels in the aerospace industry, assisting in the transition
of defense technology to the private sector and assisting
in the acquisition and sale of large companies. He currently
serves as Chairman of the Space Transportation Association,
Vice Chairman of the Defense Forum Foundation, and Chairman
of Washington Capital Partners, a seed stage venture capital
firm. He serves on the Boards of several private sector companies.
Prior to joining the private sector, McCoys 30-year
military and government career included service as Acting
Secretary of the Air Force, Assistant Secretary of the Air
Force for Readiness Support, Deputy Assistant to the Secretary
of Defense, National Security Council staff, Executive Office
of the President. McCoy served as a combat unit commander
in Germany and Vietnam and as an intelligence officer with
the DIA, CIA, and NSA. He is the recipient of numerous civilian
and military medals and honors and appears before Congress
to testify on various matters. He holds a BS in Engineering
from the United States Military Academy at West Point and
a MS in Business Financial Management from George Washington
University.
