Pete has over twenty five years of sales, business development, private equity and executive leadership experience in the high-technology market encompassing IT security, enterprise software, and consumer applications. Pete was the founder and CEO of two successful start-ups in the security market, BNX Systems, and Platform Logic; acquired by Symantec in 2004. Additionally he has been an advisor to a number of companies including Secure Software and BD Metrics.

Previously Pete was founder and managing partner of Garrett Technology, a national retained executive search consultancy, for over fifteen years. A representative list of clients includes BMC Software, Rational Software, Quest Software, and Career Builder. Pete began his career in technology sales responsible for selling computer graphics and storage equipment to the aerospace market.

Additionally, Pete is a co-inventor and holds a US patent for an authentication system controlling access to digital assets. He was an E&Y Entrepreneur of the Year finalist, and alum and organizing board member of Mindshare, an invitation only program for technology CEO's in the Washington DC metro area. He is a member of the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society and was a runner-up in their national Man of the Year contest; the local chapter was number one nationally among thirty three chapters and set an all time record. Pete is originally from Poughkeepsie, NY and makes his home in Annapolis, Maryland.
