Mr. Scott is a 24-year veteran of the technology industry who brings strategic focus and mature business judgment to entrepreneurial, fast-moving, and market-making businesses.  David has had successful executive positions in sales, professional services, business development, and alliances management in a number of industry leaders. He has been part of the management teams of companies such as Software AG, Sun, and Platinum Technology (acquired by CA). In each, he was a consistent top performer, always well ahead of plan. He has also worked in earlier stage and venture-backed companies like BSG, Powered.com (formerly NotHarvard), Clear Orbit (formerly BPA Systems), and the Maranello Group.  During his career, he has had the opportunity to develop deep relationships at leading venture capital and private equity firms as well as with top executive talent around the country. 

For the past six years, Mr. Scott was Managing Partner of a turn-around consultancy focusing on the areas of sales & marketing execution, managing to business fundamentals, executive mentoring to milestones, company survival strategies, profiting from spin-offs, and streamlining general corporate operations. The firm was acquired in 2006. Many of the firm’s engagements required Mr. Scott to take interim roles with clients, ranging from interim COO and EVP Sales & Marketing to interim CEO.
